CARNIVAL STORYTELLING WORKSHOP
Designed and led a storytelling workshop at the Carnival Corporation headquarters in Miami, Florida. The session educated the global cyber security team on how to effectively communicate their strategy to leadership and teams using proven storytelling techniques.
COMMENCEMENT SPEAKER AT PENN STATE W-B
In May 2025, I was selected to deliver the commencement address for the spring graduating class of Penn State University - Wilkes-Barre Campus. This marked the first time returning to the stage since receiving my diploma over 20 years ago.
U.S. DOE STRATEGY MAP SHOWCASED AT CYBERCON
In July 2024, I helped publicly launch the OCIO Strategy Map for the U.S. Department of Energy, live on stage at CyberCon. We created the map to help the CIO and team communicate the function and impacts of the office internally to the departments and externally to Congress.
THE DIRECT EFFECT INNOVATION CHALLENGE
Connect designed and executed a day-long hackathon, introducing and integrating the Innovation Team and Industry-based curriculum of the USPS into Academic Institutions within Northeast PA. The program was presented on-stage at the National Postal Forum in May 2019.
WILKES-BARRE
CONNECT CONFERENCE
On November 17, 2019, we launched the inaugural Wilkes-Barre Connect Conference at the Woodlands Inn & Resort. The three-day event featured speakers from IBM, Obama White House, MIT, Maga Design Group, Schooold, US Postal Service and the SuperFan Company.
LAUNCH OF THE
PARKS PORTAL
In July 2019, Connect launched an online platform called the PARKS Portal, which automates the process in which industrial park tenants can access resources such as financing, workforce, transportation, internships, and R&D, to expand operations in Northeastern PA.
THE NEPA MOVES TRANSPORTATION PORTAL
NEPA Moves engaged Connect to design a solution which helps businesses integrate public and private transportation processes to enhance retention and attraction workforce strategies. The result was a Transportation component within the PARKS PORTAL.
THE AMERICA250PA INNOVATION TEAM
Connect was selected to serve as the Innovation Team lead for the America250PA project to design and launch initiatives engaging citizens across PA leading up to America's 250th in 2026. The first initiative launched was the America250PA Direct Effect Innovation Challenge.
THE FEI BOSTON INNOVATION FESTIVAL
In May 2019, Wilkes-Barre Connect had the distinct pleasure to present at the Boston Innovation Festival, in the Design Thinking track. Nestled between IBM and Capital One, Connect showcased the transformation of NEPA from a coal region to a hub of innovation.
